Pathani Palm’s Palm Candy, also known as Panam Kalkandu, is a natural sweetener made from the flower buds of the Palm tree. It’s called “Palm Candy” because it undergoes minimal processing without any chemical additives.
The process involves heating the Palm Tree flower bud to remove moisture, resulting in a thick syrup. This syrup is then crystallized, and Palm Candy is available in stores in block, granular, and liquid forms.
